لسیتین-کلسترول اسیلترانسفراز
لسیتین-کلسترول اسیلترانسفراز (انگلیسی: Lecithin–cholesterol acyltransferase) که با نام اختصاری LCAT هم شناخته میشود، یک آنزیم است که کلسترول را به کلستریل استر (یک نوع کلسترول آبگریز) مبدل میکند که در هستهٔ یک ذرهٔ لیپوپروتئینی گرد هم آمده و در نهایت یک کرهٔ لیپوپروتئین پرچگالی ایجاد میکند و واکنش شیمیایی را بالاجبار یکطرفه میکند. این آنزیم در پلاسمای خون به لیپوپروتئین پرچگالی (آلفا-السیایتی) و لیپوپروتئین کمچگالی (بتا-السیایتی) متصل است. کمبود این آنزیم به دلیل کدر کردن قرنیه توسط کلسترول سبب اختلالات بینایی گشته و همچنین کمخونی و آسیب به کلیهها را بهدنبال دارد.
